Leadership and Management - Principles of Power

  • Recognise the factors of effective leadership
  • Explore own leadership style and use of power
  • Understand the reciprocal nature of the leader/follower relationship
  • Understand the link between Emotional Intelligence and Leadership

Personality Preferences, which Impact on Leadership (MBTI)

  • Know the basic principles of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator
  • Understand the relationship between personality and leader behaviour
  • Apply MBTI Type Theory to managing relationships with others

Managing Performance

  • Understand the concept of performance management and identify the various elements which make up the performance management system.
  • Describe the performance model and its four components.
  • Develop and use performance measures.

Developing Others through Feedback and Coaching

  • Understand coaching in a leadership context
  • Recognise the importance of the ‘what’ as well as the ‘how’ in communicating as a coach
  • Identify their own coaching style
  • Use the Ask-Tell-Ask-Tell and BOFF models of delivering feedback

Investment

$6295.00 per person plus GST.
A special price of $5795.00 per person is available for organisations that enrol three or more participants. These prices exclude accommodation and travel costs, which are participants' responsibility.

Cancellation Policy

  1. No refund of fees is available for cancellations of attendance made within 10 working days of a programme commencing.
  2. A 50% refund of fees is available for cancellations of attendance made between 10 and 20 working days of a programme's commencement.
  3. The substitution of an alternative participant is encouraged and will not attract any fee penalty prior to a programme commencing.
  4. If a participant ceases their attendance part way through a programme, no fee refund will be made.
