Myers Briggs® Type Indicator
“Why does he have to do everything the hard way? It drives me nuts!”
“I don’t have a problem with him. Maybe it’s you…”
Understanding that different personalities adopt different approaches is a crucial step in any relationship. The next step is finding out exactly who you are, and who you are working with.
The MBTI is a psychometric instrument that provides this information. It is well-researched and easily-administered, and it helps your people become aware of how their personality type affects their interactions with colleagues and customers. This increased awareness can reduce interpersonal and intra-organisational conflict, and can also improve teamwork and productivity.
How does it work? The MBTI identifies people as relating to one of 16 broad personality types. There are no "better" types – each type has different strengths.

Nexus Partners Ltd has qualified MBTI practitioners who can administer the instrument in a group setting or on a one-to-one basis. We work hard to ensure participants fully understand the model and that their learning will have practical applications in both their professional and private lives.

The benefits you gain using the MBTI include:
- Greater understanding of yourself and others, leading to increased personal confidence
- Clearer communication between team members
- Improved ability to understand and reduce conflict
- More effective decision-making processes
- Improved productivity as team members work to their strengths
- Detailed information on which to base career-planning decisions
